Thank you so much for checking out DeepWater's site! I am excited about all that God is doing and what is to come to the Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island, and surrounding areas. Our family moved to the IOP in January of 2018 and we feel at home. It does help that we have adjusted to now being on 'island time' and have a golf cart, both of which seem like musts for locals!

My wife Jessica grew up on the IOP and I did in Mt. Pleasant and so we are humbled to have the opportunity to start a church in our life-long home.  Both of us were changed by the Good News of Jesus when we both started attending a church's student ministry while in high school. I began my ministry career in 2003 and served for seven years at First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, eight years at The Church at LifePark (Mt. Pleasant), and now with DeepWater Church since 2018. We would have never thought that starting a new church would be a part of our lives, we are imperfect and real people, but we want our lives to help others know God's love, grace, and truth.  The journey is new and has had its ups and downs already, but we know that God is at work and our family is excited about what is ahead.
